Low Calorie Drink: Stoli Doli Martini
For our Memorial Day weekend cookout this year, we decided to serve Stoli Doli martinis as our party drink of choice. Anyone who has ever had a Stoli Doli will immediately tell you "Wow, these drinks are dangerous!" Why are they so "dangerous", you might ask? Basically the Stoli Doli is pineapple chunks soaked in vodka, and once the pineapple juice permeates the vodka, it tastes like pineapple juice, but it is straight vodka. A sweet cocktail without all the extra calories from the added sugar in many juices...but drink with caution!
Stoli Doli Martini:
- Layer circular slices of pineapple in a large jar.
- Pour Stoli vodka into the jar.
- Cover, and let steep for several days to let the vodka obtain the pineapple-y sweetness that makes this drink so dangerous!
- Pour into a pretty martini glass.
- I am clearly adding unnecessary bullet points to this recipe because the drink is so easy to make, and I need to fill up space! :-)
